Privacy policy

Short version: PXReality.com has no cookies, no trackers, no ads and no analytics. We only keep what you choose to send us through the contact form, plus one anonymous number: how many visits the site has had.
Who we are
PXReality.com is the website of the YouTube channel PXReality (opens in a new tab). Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].
What we collect, and why
1. Messages you send us (contact form or email)
- What: the topic you pick, your name, your email address, your message, and which video page you came from (if you used an "Ask Dr. PX" link on a video page).
- Why: to read and answer your message. Nothing else.
- Where: stored in a database run by Cloudflare (our web host), and a copy is emailed to our inbox (Gmail, run by Google). Emails you send to [email protected] are forwarded to the same inbox.
- How long: messages in the website's database are deleted automatically after 24 months. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
- We never sell your details, never add you to a mailing list, and never share them with anyone else.
2. Spam protection on the contact form
- The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (opens in a new tab) to check that a human is sending it. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser on the contact page only; it is provided under Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
- To stop floods, we keep a one-way, scrambled code (a "hash") made from your internet address next to each message. It can't be turned back into your address and is deleted with the message.
3. The visit counter in the footer
- We count visits, so we can show one total number. Nothing is stored in your browser for this: no cookies, no local storage.
- So that refreshing or reading several pages counts as one visit, the server keeps a scrambled, one-way code made from your internet network, browser type and the date. It can't identify you, can't be linked across days, and is deleted after 30 minutes. Only the total number is kept.
4. Videos
- Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play on a video. When you do, the video plays from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab) applies to that video player.
- Thumbnails and fonts are served from our own site, not from Google or anyone else.
5. Our web host
Like every website, the site is delivered by servers that see technical information such as your internet address and browser type for each request. Ours is Cloudflare, which uses it to deliver pages and block attacks, underits privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We don't use it to track you.
What we don't do
- No cookies (we don't set any).
- No analytics or tracking tools, no advertising, no social-media pixels.
- No selling or sharing of personal information.
Kids
PXReality is made for a general audience (13+). Please don't send us personal information if you're under 13; if a child has sent us a message, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing[email protected]. We'll answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), the law gives you these rights; we offer them to everyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
